And now back in Beijing

I've been in Beijing since last Friday, and with the exception of going out on Chinese New Year's Eve, and to a few temple fairs on subsequent days, I've spent the entirety in my apartment reinstalling my computer's OS, while outside my window, I hear the sound of artillery fire-esque fireworks all day (and nght, too). Whoopee!! Now it's done, and I'm using my newfound expanse of un-cluttered drive space to do some re-organizing of my photo collection. While most of my Tibet photos are still to large to post, this panorama of a beautiful lake 4 hours north of Lhasa, called "Namucuo", is just small enough. I made it on an awesome bit of freeware called "autostitch", which you can download here if you're interested. It's such a tiny and efficient program.. if Glaser were in the habit of taking panoramic photos, this is the program he would use to stitch them together.
