Haight Street Hillbillies

In keeping with my recent tradition of bi-monthly posting, here is my latest edition.

Glaser, Ben and I managed to be the first people to look at a great Castro area apartment yesterday, and beat out a number of other folks by putting down our $500 and forcing the manager to tell them that it was off the market (including a family of 4, sorry!). We felt pretty lucky, and I must admit, it was less my suave dealings than a manager at 23rd and Valencia who caused it to happen by scheduling his viewing at just the right time. Re-enforcing my sense that fate is on our side, I went to a party with Phil, Sev, Zoom, Jakob and Maggie, where the owner of the apartment offered me a free couch and a table. As Glaser refused to come pick up the couch at three in the morning (WTF?!), we waited till today at noon to go pick the stuff up in the Das Kamino. As we were moving stuff out of her house, our kind benefactor offered up more and more stuff in addition, including a bottle of courvosiee, some other booze, a chair, a bookcase, etc. Taking it all back to the homestead, I definitely had my top all the way down, see below:

What a couple 'a hayseeds!
