The time to smile is well nigh upon me!

or..
?

I stood across from a construction worker on MUNI today. I noticed him when he began explaining to a young guy next to him, who was involved in a rather whiny phone conversation, that "there's no reason to worry about any of it if it's keeping a smile from your face."
Normally, I'd probably have taken him for a religious nut- that or just out cruising for young guys. But today he made me realize that I haven't been smiling a lot lately, and that smiling a lot is something I usually take for granted. He wished me luck on my econ. final as I got off the M, and though I'd forgotten about it by the time I'd bought my scantron and arrived at the classroom for 5 more minutes of cramming, I noticed as I finished the test that I couldn't resist grinning slightly at how much harder I'd made this exam out to be than it really was. Thanks hardhat guy.
