The Turk™

This is an Ottoman I made this week, after spending the better part of the Dolphin vs Unicorn party last weekend in Heidi and Andy's bedroom looking at their book, "Home-made Modern". The plans looked so easy, so I jotted down a couple of notes on a post-it, and put it in my wallet for safe-keeping- you know, so I could wait for a few weeks before starting... or at least a few days. I started on Monday, by cutting the upholstery foam and gluing it to my wooden base. On Wednesday, I did the sewing of the cover and then put together the cushion. Yesterday I finished the staining/painting of the legs and brackets. Today, when I get home from my mid-term in American Government, I'll be resting my legs comfortably on The Turk™!
